Arkivet World war 2 Museum

During the second world war, Norway was attacked by germans on the 8th of April, 1940.

The control of Norway was very important for Germany. The occupation lasted for 5 years, till 1945. 

Stiftelsen Arkivet is a foundation working with documentation, education and research.

The building of the Arkivet served as the Gestapo headquarters, and the basement was a detention and interrogation center.
